ABOUT

The National Council for Geocosmic Research is a non-profit (501-C) organization incorporated in Massachusetts in 1971 for the purpose of raising the standards of astrological education and research. Joining NCGR provides a chance to learn more about the fascinating subject of astrology and to associate with people from all over the world who share the interest. Members include people who are curious about astrology, students, and professional astrologers, Everyone is welcome! As of 2024, there are currently 28 active NCGR chapters across the US, Mexico, Turkey, Thailand, China, Taiwan, and Japan.
NCGR (Local)
The North Star Chapter of NCGR is the name for the local, Minnesota chapter of NCGR. This group is run by an all local board who meet regularly to plan recurrent events such as discussions, presentations, speakers, and community events.

President
Sunmi Banjo-Arebojie
Sunmi is an artist, diviner, philosopher and student of the occult sciences for over 15 years and counting. Sunmi works with clients in her professional practice to identify and work with concrete astrological manifestations through horary, natal and astrological dream interpretations.

Treasurer
Stephanie Bennett
Stephanie has been a student of astrology for over 27 years. She has earned certificates in the study of oracles, prediction and longitude at Harvard University. She’s a member of NCGR and the Astrological Association of Great Britain.
Stephanie was a Noble Peace Prize Forum delegate for two years, in 2014 and 2015.

Vice President
Ryan Evans
Ryan is a Certified Master Level Astrologer with more than 30 years of astrological study and 20 years as a practicing professional. He has studied and trained with Steven Forrest, Pat Kaluza, Patricia Walsh, and other respected teachers in the field.

Ryan practices an integrative approach to astrology, combining symbolic imagery, past-life analysis, and an emphasis on supporting clients’ choice and free will. His work is also deeply influenced by his lifelong relationship with the natural world.

For the past 30 years, Ryan has worked as an organic flower farmer, aligning his understanding of astrology with the rhythms and teachings of nature. In addition to offering personal readings and private tutoring, he also teaches for the Forrest Center for Evolutionary Astrology.
